These are the first fruits of our dynamic agroforestry project. They also represent a powerful symbol of our resilience after a challenging season.
Indeed, despite the difficulties encountered in marketing cocoa last season, we have relentlessly pursued the implementation of our program to establish 20 hectares of dynamic agroforestry demonstration plots, which began in January 2025.
The project is 90% funded by Enabel’s Trade for Development Centre, with co-financing from the Belgian State.
To date, more than 26,000 plants have been planted (cocoa trees, fruit trees, forest trees, biomass plants, etc.) on less than 20 hectares, promising exceptional biodiversity and diversified income for farmers.
